Gallbladder surgery scheduled...waiting to hear if hernia will be repaired at the same time.
I am scheduled to have my gallbladder removed on Monday, April 8th.
Since losing weight, I've noticed an abdominal hernia that is much larger than it seemed to be prior to surgery. So, the surgeon's nurse is going to call to let me know if the doctor will repair the hernia at the same time that he removes the gallbladder.
I'm not thrilled about having another surgery, but if it makes me feel better...so be it. The thing that scares me about surgery is the fear of not waking up and then post op infections. Oh well. Say some prayers or send good vibes my way, please :)
