What the heck!?! I am becoming the Incredible Shrinking Woman! NSV...unbelievable :)
September 25th, I had my RNY. I was wearing a size 22/24, most fit a bit snug. I went thrift store shopping sometime back and bough size 18 jeans.
Today, my daughter and I went shopping for school pants for her. Just for fun, I tried on a summer sundress and a pair of shorts. The dress was a size 18/20 and the shorts were a size 16, but they looked like they "might fit", so I took them to the fitting room to see.
OMGoodness! The shorts fit! The dress was too big! I got the next smaller size of the dress, a 12/14 and it fit! I brought the dress home....I nearly cried in the store. My daughter was glowing. It makes me so proud of me, to see her so proud of me.
For the longest time, I didn't want to wear a dress...I felt too big, my thighs rubbed, and I just didn't feel comfortable. This summer, I see many new sundresses in my life :)

enjoy Janet! I can't tell you the number of dresses in my closet! I feel so much more confident in my clothes, I hope you to too! Enjoy this part! You'll notice also that sizes drop much quicker the lower you get. It seems it takes a lot of weight to go down a size in plus size but not so much in the smaller sizes!
I'm not sure what part of the country you are in but I would go buy the dress in at least 2-3 sizes smaller than you would normally wear. This will help you when you have the weeks where you don't lose weight but lose inches. Just keep the receipt, because you can always return it if it is too big when its warm enough to wear!
