The shakes after eating a banana

Hi all I just ate a banana about 45 mins ago & I started having the shakes for the last 30 mins. Could this be low blood sugar drop or what? I hate when this happens. It doesn't happen often, but does not feel good.

Probably a drop in blood sugar due to the high sugar content in a banana.  If you really like bananas, try eating just half of one instead along with some kind of protein like Greek yogurt or peanut butter.

Could be mild dumping (it sometimes starts with shaking). Some people cannot tolerate the amount of sugar in a whole banana (although most people do t ave trouble wih natural fruit sugar).  I wold try half a banana the next time.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Sounds to me like slight case of dumping? Did you start sweating? I haven't dumped that much but the one time it happened I got dizzy, sweaty and started shaking. I had to drink some water and that helped some.

Might want to hold off on Banana's for a while.

Can dumping just start anytime? I've been eating banana's & fruits all along with no problems.

Sounds more like reactive hypoglycemia to me.  It happened 45 minutes after eating the banana and you didn't have any stomach issues, right?

Right. I haven't had any issues with foods so far.

Reactive hypoglycemia seems to typically start a couple years post op.

It had been a few hours since I had ate last & I usually eat about every 2-3 hours. Could that be why? It's an uneasy shaky feeling.
