Burp

I just got home from my surgery on Sunday. It doesn't seem to matter how slow I eat, I take one bite and fell like I have to burp. It is driving me crazy. Any advice?

Most of us are still on liquids at this point.  Are you having actual food?  Does you plan allow solid food that you can take a bite?

I was on liquids for a few weeks post op, then progressed up the stages.

are you eating real foods? cause i had surgery on 4/8 and am on clear liquids only ex. water, sf jello, sf ice pops. broth, and I have not expirenced feeling like i was gonna burp all the time i took a bite of jello...

I started eating "mush" in the hospital. I get a lot of air too. I don't know if it's chewing more or that air always went down, it just used to go into a much bigger tummy so it wasn't as noticeable. I use baby spoons, so I know I'm not taking too big bites.
