Multiply your goal weight by ten to get a realistic maintenance number. To stay at 150 aim for 1500 calories a day. Eating 2000 per day could land you back at 200 pounds.

I have found the calculator on Livestrong.com to be very helpful. It not only uses your height and weight, but your age and activity level to determine where you should be. For me it has been spot on. Here is the direct address for it. http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/
