Protein Bars
I really like Quest bars - since they meet all the requirements for Bariatric patients and they are pretty tasty as far as a protein bar goes! I also recently tried "Oh Yeah" protein bars. There are a lot of good flavors to choose from as well in these. I don't LOVE protein bars and I would rather eat food. . . but I have two small children as well as a full time job - and sometimes it's the easiest and healthiest choice on the go - or for a vacation. It has really helped me to have one with me just in case I am gone way longer than I had planned or I am unable to find a decent food option.
When i have them, I always have the Quest bars. While processed, they have better ingredients than any of the other bars I have looked at.
I use the Premier Protein bars from Costco. Have been since about 4 weeks post-op.
