I just resumed my normal eating as of May 9th i am 10 weeks post-op. So far i have done most veggies all went well, salad dress, steak tips, sweet potato, lettuce, cooked onions, peppers... so far NO issues except i have a greek pineapple yogurt and the pineapple didn't agree with me. I also had a tiny piece of pita bread today and it went down just fine. I am happy i am tolerating things so well. especially my protein and fiber foodsangry

My first 3 mo my doc had us on meat cheese and eggs only. I didn't do eggs but I did most kinds of meat and cheese. I could not eat pork products for the first 3-4 mo. other than bacon. I couldn't do and still can't do filet mignon.  Otherwise all meats were extremely good. I loved meatloaf made in muffin tins. I ate a lot of ground beef made any way you can imagine and then some lol.

That's awesome my steak tips were marinated and i chewed them very well so i am sure that helped with them going down well. I've had ground beef too no problem i had like 1/2 cheeseburger no bread and did well. Meatloaf in muffin tins sounds good do you have a recipe you use?

I also had an issue with the greek yogurt pineapple. Any other ones like the peach I have had no issues with.

I love fresh pineapple but I have to be really careful eating it.

The onlyt thing I have found that  have trouble tolerating is pork and beef. other then that I can eat anything. I do not dump either.

Almost everything agrees with me.  I eat a lot of yogurt, cheese, beans, fresh veggies and fruit.  I also eat whole grains like whole wheat bread and brown rice.  Pasta feels too heavy in my pouch so I avoid it and I avoid stuff high in sugar and greasy foods.

Everything agrees with me now, at 8 months out.  Pineapple did upset my pouch early out.   It is very acidic stringy and fiberous.  Try it again in a few weeks or a month.

Definitely fish!  It is so easy on my belly.  Like most at my stage I can tolerate most things but fish is so easy.

Surgery weight:  232 lbs. / Goal: 145 lbs. Height:  5'5"     Fat? Ain't nobody got time for that.

I don't do fish but i've even had steak tips and have done very very well. Fresh veggies are not a problem either. Pineapple seems to be the other intolerance right now.
