Hypoglycemic
What works for me with the hypoglycemia is eating small meals frequently, about every three hours, and keeping the carbs low and including protein with every meal.

I also have hypoglycemia (mild). As Kelly said, eating smaller, more frequent meals is essential, as is making sure that at each meal you have a combination of protein, carbs, and some fat. I was originally just told protein and carbs together (never just one or the other) but have found that if I make sure I have a little fat, I feel much better for longer. If I have NO fat, sometimes I start to feel a little shaky before my next meal. Just little things like regular cheese and peanut butter, using 2% milk, eating nuts with yogurt if it is fat free, etc.
Don't beat yourself up over the regain. Just get back on track and focus on protein first, eliminating the extra carbs (that seems to be what gets people into trouble the most), and making healthy food choices. If you have started drinking with meals, stop that (another common reason for regain).
