Cracked Liver

I read that the liver has been known to crack when they are trying to pull it out of the way. I know the pre op diet helps make the liver more floppy.

Does anyone know how often liver cracking occurs?

Cracking is really just bruising, your liver doesn't crack, it can get bruised and bleed.

Starting weight: 334 lbs.Starting opti weight: 323 lbs, Surgery weight 303 lbs.Surgery-May 21st, 2013 with Dr Hagen at HRRH Goal weight 165 lbs reached at 13 months. Current weight 156 lbs

I honestly haven't heard anyone here having this issue.
