multivitamins from Family Dollar
I have decided I love the dollar store. Today I was shopping at Family Dollar and was looking to see if they had any calcium citrate, which they did not. However, I saw their Family Wellness brand multivitamins and checked out the label. They are almost identical to regular Centrum. Except they are much, much cheaper.
I got 100 tablets for $4. I typically spend about $8 for about 100 tablets of the Meijer store brand. I think I've found Centrum on sale for about 100 tablets for $12 before on occasion.

I have no idea why some recommend chewables forever. My surgeon did, and he said it was because they were absorbed better, but the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery says they are not absorbed better, and I decided to take their word for it over his. He also told me to take calcium carbonate, which we can't even absorb after RNY. Anyway, I've been swallowing all my vitamins since I was about two years post op and my labs indicate I am absorbing them just fine.

I use Sundown Perfect Iron, which you can find lots of places. I usually buy it at Meijer but sometimes I order it from drugstore.com.
Feosol also makes carbonyl iron, and you can get that at CVS. Make sure you get the carbonyl one, though, because they also make ferrous sulfate.
Vitalady.com carries carbonyl iron, and it even has the correct amount of vitamin C in it to aid in absorption.
I'm pretty sure Bariatric Advantage also has carbonyl iron

I don't know. I just looked at the bottle and it says "distributed by Family Dollar Services" with a US address. But "distributed by" isn't the same as "made by," is it?

Just wondered, if they were Canadian made I would jump on them.
Thanks so much
