New pain- 3 days post op. help please

I am a newb, but you really got Hairy Tongue? Is that a common thing with bypass? What is a Q pump?

An on-Q pump is a plastic ball about the size of a softball with a tube that goes under your skin and stays there. It delivers a constant stream of novacaine (I think) to your internal areas that were cut. Usually stays in 3-5 days after surgery. Not every surgeon uses them. Mine did but had to take it out early. I has hairy tongue the first day before I was allows to drink but that was it. Once I could drink I was good
