I have just had my orientation meeting at Toronto Western Hospital ..... I live in Oakville and would DEARLY love to get to know (either in person or just on-line) any other persons who live in my area who are beginning the same adventure that I am, or have already had the surgery ..... PLEASE .... I really, really would like to get to know someone local !!

Go onto forums, click on international and choose Ontario. There you can find a lot more people to connect with from your area :)

there is a great support group that meets in Burlington and has members from Oakville. Next meeting is Aug 24. Check the Ontario forum for more info, plus there will be a more informal meet in Mississauga next Thursday. Look for Marny's post.

im just over two weeks post op and doing great. Feel free to pm me as well.
