Officially two weeks today. Cleared to move to soft food. According to my nutritionist no need to purée it just make sure it's puréed in your mouth before you swallow it. . My fist meal was 1/4 cup chicken thigh, a little fresh mozzarella cut up, small amount of low fat mayo, and seasonings. That was at like 12:00. No issues to report. I am officially on 3 meals and 2 protein shakes a day for the next six weeks. All said I am down 33 lbs. 7 from my heaviest, 11 from pre op diet, and 15 since surgery. . Up to 3 miles a day and moving along well. Next week I'm allowed to add swimming in! Also according to my PA the morning blues are not uncommon and will get better after 4 weeks as that's the most rapid weightless period and your still healing and have the effects of the anesthesia and stuff. So I pretty happy. Today is a good day. I know they won't all be but figured I've shared enough not so great ones I should share the good one!

Excellent--good for you!

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman.  I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
