Is it ok to eat this?!

I have found the best thing ever to snack on! I've been looking around at things that I can put in my cottage cheese to make it taste better. I think one day on here I saw someone say something about no sugar added pie filling so I got some of the cherry kind to add to it and its really good! I almost feel as though I'm doing something wrong when I eat it. The NSA cherry pie filling has 3G of sugar per 1/3 cup and 35 cals. I also use fat free cottage cheese. Does this seem like something that I can eat as a snack guilt free? Also, I'm still pre op waiting on a date if that makes a difference! Thanks!

The texture gets me too! That's why I can't eat it plain but it kinda tastes like cherry cheesecake with this pie filling in it!

I put the no sugar added cherry pie filling on Greek yogurt - plain Greek yogurt wth some sugar free cheesecake flavored pudding mix stirred in.  I think it tastes just like cherry cheese cake, especially with a graham cracker crumbled up on top

An alternative could be ricotta cheese -- much less like styrofoam pellets.   I put that **** in everything. :)

Yes! I love ricotta! Have you ever done pie filling with ricotta?

I haven't, but I can imagine it would be good.  Creamy texture and flavour to taste.  :)

Put some unsweetened applesauce on it and then sprinkle a mixture of Splenda and Cinnamon. Tastes a lot like apple pie. Well stretching it a bit, but when ever I got sick from eating too fast or too much I had this and it always went down real good and made me feel much better.
