Hi msanson,
I am a pre-op r-n-y patient. Any more post r-n-y foods/Micky D ideas? I eat there everyday now.

I needed a quick breakfast recently and went through Braum's for a burrito. It's a local chain but the eggs taste real. I only had the guts out of mine and left all the tortilla and most of the sausage. The sausage still flavored it up, though.
Regardless of me feeling it was a decent breakfast, eating from fast food restaurants terrify me. They contributed heavily to my obesity and I can't start back down that road!!! I just ordered some grass-fed beef jerky sticks with no artificial additives or preservatives to keep in my purse so I don't get caught up in the drive-thru mentality again.

I like them. I've had maybe 3 in the 15 months since my surgery. Its not something I would recommend for regular consumption but it is excellent for when you don't have other options. Remember that a sausage patty or hashbrown will be greasy (delicious but greasy). I do however recommend the new item with egg whites as suggested above. That is a good alternative filled with protein!
