How long after surgery does the swelling and bloatedness go away?
That seems like an extremely long time. I was a little swollen but within 2 weeks the swelling was gone and I was losing. I would put a call in to the doc. Is it just on your stomach or are you experiencing swelling in your legs/arms? If you are experiencing in your extremeties...I would really call the doctor very quickly.

So you really have a lot of swelling and bloating? That's not typical. I would call your surgeon today.
I never had so much swelling or bloating that I looked pregnant. I may have had a little swelling or bloating the first week or so, but nothing very noticeable.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.

I totally agree. I walked out wearing the shorts I walked in with and they were a tad tighter due to 10 lbs of fluids I had gained from the IVs, but never was swollen or bloated in a noticeable way.
call your doctor--and I hope they have good news for you!
