Home from the hospital
I had rny on Tuesday. It went really well. I only used the pump three times, and half a dilaudid once. I haven't needed any pain meds since then. Nausea was a big problem for me, but the worst episode went away after I walked some. I didn't have the back and shoulder pain that a lot of people seem to have.
I don't feel like I had surgery at all. I was able to sleep on my sides the second night. Not sure if I'll be able to do it in a regular bed. I feel fantastic. They did warn me that I'll have bad days.
The hospital was gorgeous and the staff were wonderful. I absolutely recommend using Dr. Kim at Florida Hospital in Celebration Florida.

They warned me that I might have bad days too. I'm still waiting for them
I (kiddingly) asked my surgeon if he had really done the surgery or had he just put a few nicks on my abdomen and collected from my insurance company. I know that it's rare, but some of us just have it easier than most.
I'm glad to hear everything went so well for you!
