Good luck to both of you! I can tell you recovery for me has been much easier than I anticipated! My surgery was 7/1 and I was home on Wednesday. The pain feels like I've done too many sit-ups....totally bearable:). I'll be sending up healing thoughts for a speedy recovery!!!

I was 7/1 also. Best thing I can suggest- listen to your body and your doctor! Don't rush back to normal activity and don't be afraid to ask for help!

YAY FOR YOU! You will LOVE your new life!!

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
