It's hereee!!

I'm packing my bags and getting everything ready to be at the hospital at 5 am! I have to leave my house at four because I'm an hour away from New Orleans and surgery is scheduled for 7. I'm very glad I'm the first on this list! Everyone keeps asking me if I'm nervous yet but I can't say that I am. I'm just super freaking excited! I've waited for this day for so long and I'm so ready for this journey I'm about to begin!! It really is still kind of surreal to me I guess. Wooh. Welp, hopefully tomorrow morning goes smoothly, my boyfriend is coming with me at 5 and let me tell you how much of a morning person he is NOT!! Lol the rest of my family is coming around 6, even though I wanted to keep it low key but whatever. I just hope it doesn't hurt too much! 

Best wishes going out to you, and I was nerveous a few weeks before and that was just a few days. Day of surgery, I was so calm! Just like you, it had been a long time coming. See you on the loser's bench tomorrow! Sip, sip, sip, (when you are allowed) and walk as soon as you are able, and then as much as you are allowed and what you body will tolerate. Just don't over do it!! Good luck!

Have a safe trip! You are very lucky are up first- I was last and my surgery was delayed 3hrs due to someone before me having a complication. Sending positive thoughts to you!
