An Open Letter to Those that Think I Took "THE EASY WAY OUT"

I LOVE this....and I can't wait to have toned arms!

I've run into a few instances of " just reduce calories and work out...no need to cut yourself up" or " just drink more water" to " Weigh****chers really works, you should try it!" ( that last gem was from a cardiologist who was doing my cardiac clearance for my surgery. I about slugged him in his smug face! )

For the record, my surgery, recovery, and weight loss were in NO way easy!!  And maintaining my weight loss (or trying to maintain it) has not been easy!

We need a LOVE button on here! I love it.... Being fat and miserable isn't easy either but people seem to think it is. It's not easy watching my 64 year old mom who is morbidly obese and has a ton of health problems basically rot away in her rocking chair and depend on others to do things for her but that is something I have to deal with and the reason why I had WLS while I'm young and can enjoy my kids and life.

Thank you EVER so much for posting this!!!  For 1, because I know this is NOT an easy way out and for 2, to see your success!!  Congratulations!!  I just scheduled my surgery a few minutes ago for October 14th.  The late date is my choice unfortunately because of waiting for time available to take off from work.  I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, but I can't continue to live the way I am.  My doctor keeps telling me I can only pu**** for so long before I go from borderline diabetic to actual diabetic.

I've tried more things than I have time to write......repeatedly!  I'm even a WW lifetimer.... back years ago when I only needed to lose 20 pounds.

I'm really looking forward to making "loser" friends here.  :)
