Mine don't.  I don't mean in a "not as bad" way either - I mean literally nothing - and I am constantly passing gas.  It just dawned on me the other day.

Yep, mine do.  So did my pre-op farts.  They smell about the same to me.

I am seriously surprised at how little gas I even have. I expected to be rumbling all the time and to need to be constantly on the lookout for restrooms.  Now, belching/burping, that's another story. Sometimes it's embarrasing!

I hardly ever pass gas and they do have a poopy smell when I do, but NOTHING like my husband. His copious poots post-op could be weaponized! He is the death dealer!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

If my carb levels are on the high side, my farts could be deadly. Otherwise, they are the same as pre-op.

Two thoughts here:

1.  Mine could neutralize the olfactory capabilities of a narcotic/bomb/cadaver dog.

2.  Your farts have neutralized your own olfactory capabilities!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

If gas is a problem try some Gas X. Ifnodornis a problem, order some Devrom which is an "internal deodorant" in a chewable tablet. Works like a charm.

Carbs do have an impact on gas - they break down and are metabolized as sugars. It's a little fermentation factory in your gut.
