The rollercoaster ride with weight loss. Don't lose and even GAIN for almost 2 weeks to lose 2.6 lbs in 4 days. Then again i added more exercise in this week and upped the protein even more.. i can honestly not know what causes the lack of loss 1 week and the next a bigger loss my body is on a weird trend.. this has happened now for like 2 months where 1 week nothing and the next week 1-5 lbs loss. Not complaining just trying to understand the huge fluctuations every week.

Uhhhhhhhhhhh, if you get to a place where you do understand it - please clue the rest of us in - cause we've all experienced that right along with ya!  The key is to keep on getting in your liquids and protein and exercise.  Don't be a slave to the freakin' scale - use it as a guide to your progress, not as a measure of your success.  It's gonna happen - just chalk it up to the process.

Oh, and strut your stuff honey - staaaaaaaaaaa-rut it proudly!  Welcome to the club -

Save yourself the headache, LOL  Very often there is no identifiable pattern whatsoever.  Someone once swore that eating pizza would "cause" a large drop in weight and someone else swore that drinking something (I don't remember what it was, but it was just something normal) would "cause" a big loss suddenly but that drinking something else (again, just something normal) would "stall" her. Someone else swore that even a single serving of a certain vegetable  would cause her not to lose any weight for several days.  all nonsense, of course, but you get the idea...

Just do what you know you need to be doing and focus your energy on embracing the new eating and physical activity habits.

14 years out; 190 pounds lost, 165 pound loss maintained

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

LOL it's a headache trying to even understand this like a previous poster had wrote. I have tried to get it or "understand" or even think of reasons for what i did this week i didn't do last week and lost more weight. Someone told me this week they lost more weight not exercising because they were sick then the week before with full blown exercise. Interesting how our bodies work. I think they are confused haha

You are not bald, just taller than your hair. Now be glad you are not shorter, hair is not worth it! :)

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

My journey is the same way.  3 weeks ago I lost 1 pound.  2 weeks ago I lost 6.  I am 7.5 months in so I really doubt I lost 6 real pounds of fat.  I probably lost more than 1 pound 3 weeks ago.  I think your body just holds on to water at different times and all the sudden it goes I don't need this anymore.   Then it lets it go.  It's funny how it works.
