NSV

Last night I attended a parent meeting for freshman football with my son. After the meeting, they were selling football spirit tshirts. I asked the lady who was selling them what size she thought I should get (I am clueless as to what size I truly am sometimes). She looked at me and said, "Here's a small"......... SERIOUSLY?!?!? Small?!? WOW

I was shocked that anyone, I mean ANYONE, would ever look at me and think of me as a small. In the end, I was a medium. Which to me is still an amazing NSV.

Nice!  I recently had someone remark to me about being small - and although I know I'm short, I've never thought of myself as small (still don't) but it is a nice feeling.  Congratulations!

Yes, it was nice. It is hard for us to see ourselves that way!

And as the mom of two former football players, I advise you to buy several shirts. They get LOTS of wear!! :) By the time my youngest graduated, I had one 'good' spirit shirt that had not been ruined by all manner of things at the games, team dinners, drink corral, practice caravan, food shack (especially that darn cotton candy maker!) and being 'tackled' by boys after a game! :) Most of us took ours to an embroidery place and had names, numbers or initials put on our shirts, too.

Oh how COOL! I would have to bypass the number since I have a freshman and a JV player and their games are on the same night back to back but I think I will check into having a t-shirt embellished.
