I think my new stomach is tolerating to much
Thanks for all of your replies. I guess what I meant was that I am eating more then I thought I'd be able to eat ... I mean my stomach is tolerating more food then I thought it would.
Ah, that's different. :)
I'm not sure how much you thought you would be able to tolerate, but I know that sometimes I am surprised when people post that they can only eat (or surgeon only wants them to eat) 2 Tb of food at a time. That is very little food. I was allowed to start soft foods on Day Three, which is really early compared to most plans (but there seems to be a growing number of surgeons doing this), and that day I had just a teaspoon sized bite of cream of wheat (to discover that I hate the texture of it, LOL) and two small bites of scrambled eggs. That was probably about 2Tb, but that was Day Three! By my second week, I could eat most of a scrambled egg or what was much more than 2Tb of tuna, so the people 2Tb people surprise me (and if that was what your expectation was based on, don't fret).
Just follow your surgeons's plan and stop eating if you feel full. ( I know most people don't feel fullness for a number of weeks, and they talk about nerves being cut, but-- somehow -- I could definitely feel full by the end of my second week.)
