Holy cow, that's a lot of fruit!!!

I bought a lot of fruit (I way overbought, but it all sounded so yummy!) at the grocery last week (a pre-cu****ermelon slice, a canteloupe, some cherries and grapes, two bananas, two small Gala apples, a kiwi, strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries) but I froze half of all the berries and the cherries, and I haven't touched the apples or the second half of the canteloupe yet because I needed to eat the things that would spoil more quickly.  I also still have a ziploc bag of the cherries and the grapes left.

And I thought that *I* ate too much fruit this week, LOL!  It can be hard to remind yourself of the high carbs in the fruit.

I haven't asked my Dr if I can eat fruit yet....but I'll admit it....I've had a few peeled grapes, half a peach (which was so amazing), and about three tiny cubes of watermelon. I've held back on it because I've wanted it do bad this summer I'd probably eat too much and make myself sick.

In moderation it works great for me except high in carbs. It is a high glycemic fruit and too much led to diarrhea. But one slice is delish!
