Finished my first 5k! It wasn't as hard as I was afraid it would be. I even ran for 30 seconds three times! That was hard, but I did it!

congratulations!  I hope to give this a try soon.  Might have to walk it but will if that gets me to the finish line.

Walking is fine. I didn't think I could run at all, so this was a surprise. You find out how heavy you really are when you try to run. I feel like I had good form, too.

That is fantastic! I immediately wanted to do more! Isn't it amazing to finish?

I really love the Couch to 5k program. I also did a Chi Running workshop. Who knew I could run?

I'm doing the Greater Orlando Heart Walk (5k) on September 7, and another 5k the week after that. A 5 miler in October. A 5k each in January and February, and a 10k in March. I just found out there are 5ks in November and December. I want to register for those.

I'm so happy for you.  I know you have mentioned the 5K in previous posts.  Glad it went well and looks like you have a busy schedule. I hope to be able to do what you do in the near future.  You are my inspiration !!!
