Feeling down - bad dreams
I take antidepressants. I don't know if this is just a fluke or if it's the beginning of true depression. I know that bad dreams can affect your outlook for the day.
Does anyone have a higher incidence of weird/bad dreams after rny?
That would b a big yes for me. Like terror night mares, wakeup so wet I could swin to the bathroom. There horrible. Driving cars with no breaks, running over ppl. Fires, I had one where I was stuck in a computer game. Waking up feeling like someone is siting on my chest and not being able to breath. I to suffer from depression, but I have no idea why I get these night terrors, I never made the connection. However, when I do wakeup from a bad dream, I then finish the dream off in my head while I'm awake and give it a good ending. Maybe try and do that :)

I have been having bad dreams all my life. But the past few years have been crazier than normal. They say people who have very scary dreams or ones that look like you are watching a movie that we have a vivid imagination.I have been on antidepressents and the dreams are not worse by taking the medicine. I would call a therapist to see her or him to talk about your depression and to see if you need different meds.It is best to get out of the house and keep busy after these dreams.Staying home and thinking about them won't make it better.Feel better.

I think it's from reading my dumbass biological sister's drama on Facebook. I hid her from my newsfeed today. I see my therapist on Saturday and my psychiatrist next Friday. Hopefully it'll be fine once this drama is out of my life.
My doctors and therapist are right on top of things. I have their cell numbers in case of crisis. They want to head off any serious depression. I have a really good team

I have been dealing with depression, anxiety for years. Im finally on a meds that help. I too have had the bad very vivid dreams. After I was put on my c-pap machine and 300 mg. of trazodone was I able to get some decent sleep. Im now worried about malabsorption with the meds Im on. Im going to address this issue with my phych. tomorrow when I see him.
Maybe if you are on meds, they are not effective with the malabsorption after RNY. Might want to talk to you doc about that. Hope you get some relief.
