Brain Panic. Could it be water weight?
OKAY PEOPLE. My brain is in panic mode even though a small part of it knows im being irrational and dumb. SO, The other day I woke up and weighed myself like I always do and i was 178.8 WOOHOOOO. The next day, I got up and weight myself and I was 184. WHAT THE WHAT. Whyyyyyy. Could this be water weight? 5 pounds seems a little much for water weight. and then this morning I was 182. BOOOOO. I also have decided that G2 Is the devil, should I be worried about the carbs in those?
Someone pat my head and tell me im not gaining weight.
Hi There. You didn't say what kind of volume you are drinking but here is a link to the G2 Orange flavor:

While only 45 calories... there is 270mg of sodium, 34 g of cards made up of 34 g of sugar. That is a fair amount of sugar and carbs for very little redeeming value. And if you are able to drink that then you must be a non-dumper. If you are having one occasionally then likely not the culprit. But if you are having one or more of these a day, then I would be suspicious. Depends on what else you are getting for sodium, carbs and sugar in a day. Hard to say without knowing what else you eat/drink in a day.
Sounds like you have already done some analysis. Take a close look at what is in your day. Likely you will figure it out.
We all have weight fluctuations of 2- 3 lbs over a day for a variety of reasons - me I gain a few pounds right before my period and then it seems to go away when it is done.
Are you drinking the sugared G2 or does it come in a SF variety?!?
Because it has a fair amount of sodium in it, it is entirely possible for you have gained 5 pounds of water weight.
You are going to make yourself crazy down the road if you continue to get so upset over what the scale says. I know this is an emotional journey, but if you are this upset now, what are you going to do when you are 6 months out and you hit a stall and the scale doesn't move for WEEKS and then, when it does, it goes UP?!?
Stay off the scale if the number on it affects your mood.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

It takes 3500 EXTRA calories over what you need to make a pound of fat. Did you eat 15,000 calories? No...so that is not true fat, but it IS possible you are gaining weight. I gain 5 lbs within 30 hours or so when my period starts. Lose it again a week later.
Maybe it is just your cycle, too. Bu****ch that sodium and I'd drop that G2 ASAP--wasted calories, IMO.
