I just wanted you to know and I hope this helps ,I gain like 8 to 9 pounds a few days before my monthly. Very frustrating, I know. It always freaks me out. Then I have my monthly and like around the 3rd day that 8 or 9 pounds disappears. I cannot see how that much water retention does that, or where it sits or hides or what. But it always goes away. And that seems to be the time of the month for me to loose another 3 to 5 lbs. I am 16 months out. So I am only loosing 3 to 5 lbs a month right now.  So I am always looking forward to my monthly now. lol. Just seems to be the norm for me for the last four or five months.

I always laugh when I hear someone say (or I read it) " muscle weighs more than fat" a pound is a pound no matter what it is you are weighing. Fat has more density than muscle but a pound of each is still equal to one pound.
