Question about quinoa?
It is a good food, but not this early out. When you get to a point where you can add rice or other carbs, quinoa is a good alternative carb, but its still a carb. Here's a link to the nutritional data http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/cereal-grains-and-pasta/ 10352/2 for a CUP, which I would never never never be able to finish. But if you had a quarter of a cup it would be about 50 calories and 2 grams of protein, and about 10gm of carbs. So not awful as a part of a well rounded meal.
