A lot of people here take Sundown Perfect Iron. I take Vitron-C. I have never noticed any aftertaste.

I use the tender Iron from vitalady.  Its not bad. Hasn't caused to many issues with constipation (although I take a serving of miralax and benefiber daily).  Its a good price and its the right kind of iron

Are you able to swallow pills?   If so, I recommend Sundown Perfect Iron.  It's carbonyl, which is absorbed well and usually does not cause constipation.  It's cheap and lots of stores carry it.  They are tiny round pills, smaller than an M and M, easy to swallow.

You are not getting nearly enough calcium. The chews are 250 each and you need 2000 a day. Which flavor of iron are you taking? I buy the grape and LOVE those things, I am bummed I only get 2 a day. ;) My husband gets the tangerine, but they are only 18mg so he can take 2 of those and be fine. I need the larger dose since I still menstruate.

How are your A and D levels? I take D and A daily in addition to what you've listed.

Have you considered the ENS for multi and calcium? I do at least one a day of those in a glass of water--love them!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
