Friday night boredom

It seems very quiet in here. As much as I'd love to go out and do something tonight, my sinuses and coughing won't let me. It would seem that I'm the only one stuck at home on a Friday night.

On the bright side I avoided confrontation with my coworker who told me "how would you know what it's like to try to keep weight off, you can eat what you want and not gain a pound."  As I said I avoided the confrontation and walked away, but his life expectancy has just dropped a bit I think (cruel chuckle)

I'm sorry to hear that. Stay strong, keep your nitro close, and get better soon.

Nope, I am right here with you!  My two little ones and a killer week are keeping me home.  I had a TERRIBLE day today with food and exhaustion and parenting and LIFE.  but I am using my friday night to make some good food, Cream of Cauliflower soup and am looking forward to watching some tv on Netflix.  I know that may sound very lame, but it is making me incredibly happy.  And did I mention that my little ones (bless their tantrumming hearts) are asleep?   Hallelujah!

Hope you feel better soon!

I miss those nights, the 4 and 5 year old go to bed at 8 which as much as I love them, it brings a sigh of relief when they're asleep. But with the addition of a now 4 1/2 month old, some nights are longer than others.

Oh Jacob, how do you combat stupid?  We both know she is wrong and know that you will regain the weight if you don't listen to the pouch.  If you eat the wrong food, you'll dump!  God bless ya!  Just ignore the uninformed and keep up the good fight.
