Stuck for 3 weeks!!!
Well, what else could it possibly be?
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
It's very, very common for people to hit a speed bump somewhere between 10 days and 8 weeks post op. Continue to do what your surgeon's office has prescribed in terms of intake of fluid, protein and supplements. You may want log all of your consumption and take that information with you to your next appointment. It also may help to know that often when you aren't seeing movement on the scale you can often see it on the tape measure. If you haven't done so already you may want to take comprehensive measurements that you can use to track your progress. Also, you may want to see about having some take pictures of you in front of a door. Doors are a static size and will allow you to see the changes in your size as you progress.
Wishing you all the best,
Barbara
