3days post op...

Monday was my surgery.(r ny). Still pretty uncomfortable. Having a hard time drinking my fluids. A sip here and there is all I can do. Hoping this gets better.

Congratulations on your surgery!  Hang in there and it will get better with each passing day    

Uncomfortable, yes but you'll be turning the corner soon.  That first week or two, I'd lay in the recliner with a sports bottle of water propped up on a pillow next to my mouth and water would drain in slowly.  Sounds pathetic but it worked.

LOL, I am sorry but just the picture tickled me and made me realize how ingenious people are in meeting their needs!

That was great.  I would never have thought of that!

It gets better, I promise.  Have you tried different temperature liquids because for some the temperature really impacts how difficult it is to drink enough.  Keep sipping, you do want to stay hydrated.
