Welcome to the loser's bench! Here are some things that worked for me.

Spaghetti sauce mixed with beef baby food

Pureed bean soup mixed with ham baby food

Greek yogurt (mixed with sugar free cheesecake pudding mix - just the powder) and sugar free Italian soda syrup ( mango is my fave)

If your medical team defines puree the way mine does, you can have cheese, fish, eggs, and deli meats, as well.

Good luck! You'll be eating stir-fry and grilled chicken before you know it.

I hate to say this but ICK, no baby food,  do the real thing and get more protein and nutrition, MY doc said, DO  NOT DO THE BABY FOOD, YOU ARE NOT A BABY!!

I made chicken vegetable soup for the family, and took mine out before adding noodles for them.  Then I pureed mine.  I added some whey protein to up the protein count too.  It's good.

I've been eating a lot of lentil vegetable soup too, home made.  It's very flavorful, and high in protein.

At least one meal a day is Greek yoghurt.

I love Scrambled eggs in tomato soup.

Scrambled eggs with 2 T cottage cheese mixed in when cooking.  Yum.

I usually have a protein shake too. I put some Mio in the orange one, it jazzed it up some, and was good.

Tuna salad, pureed with celery in it.

Chicken salad, with celery

Smoked Salmon salad puree

Sounds good. I think i will try eggs tomorrow. I have been having tuna with salsa and like that i was going to make chicken chili but the canned sauce has alot of carbs and sugars in it then by the time everything else gets added i feel like it will be way to high

I am at the same stage, I lost 11lbs by the 7th day, nothing since, I think I may be taking in too many carbs, I have just today started lunch with 3 oz of turkey low salt with beans chilly. I added in 3 ounces of sweat potato's drained and rinsed in a can. I have enough with the 2 cans for about 5 meals. I have only moved my bowels 2x in the past 2 weeks, just nothing is coming out of me. I started drinking more water but difficult to drink all they said. I have diabetis, and although the numbers are normal, I have bad feet and the pain keeps me from walking too much around. I did however Puree a can of low salt Italian Wedding soup, it was not bad, the thought of Puree'ing tuna or turkey or chicken just is not appealing, I like the idea of the baby food with tomato sauce, sounds interesting, and i bet is less salty too. This is an interesting journey. good Luck

Wendy's chili, pureed, really helped me thru this stage.  Crab meat hit the spot for me too.  Stay away from the carbs.  Good luck, it will get better :)

I found a lot of great suggestions on www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com.  She even posts "A day in my pouch" with recipes.  I'm not scheduled until early next year but am still trying the recipes and doing as much reading up on what others experienced.
