I think my dreaded week 3 stall has finally broken!

I had surgery on August 28th and was doing really well until Sept 20th.  I had lost 23 lbs in 23 days and was really happy.  But then I hit the dreaded week 3 stall that I keep reading about and have been stuck there until this morning (so stuck for 14 days blush).  It is so frustrating to get on the scale each day and see zero movement.  But lo and behold, this morning there was a 1.5 lb drop!  So I'm hoping this means my stall has ended.  Yipee!!  Tomorrow is my birthday, so that would make an awesome b-day present!

Stalls are apart of this journey....know they do pass eventually and keep on the program.  I have had 3 in my 19 months and it is so frustrating.  Keep a smile and TRY to stay off that damn scale.  I've put mine in the closet countless times and then you will begin to stair step.  Lose a couple then up 3,  Stall and drive yourself crazy.  Then it starts all over again.  Get use to it, our bodies drives us nuts!

Happy Birthday, next year your wont recognize yourself!!!

Congrats

Happy Birthday

Keep focused and you will make it through your occasional stall.  You got this!

Thanks :)  I know stalls are very common - especially at this time in the process.  So thanks to all of the great advice others have posted.  I knew I just had to keep doing what I was doing and be patient.  But that's not always easy!  I'm just glad to see the scale moving again.

Happy B-Day!!! Congratulations on your movement on the scale.

I had surgery the same day as you and lost a similar amount before my stall in week three and just like you this morning was my first movement on the scale in weeks I was down 1.2 lbs!!! I am so glad to hear someone else going through this similiarly at the same time. :)

Congrats on breaking your stall too. It is comforting to know that this is all normal and that eventually things start to move again.

Congrats!! I totally feel your pain. I stalled about 2.5 weeks after surgery for almost a month but have FINALLY started losing again. Feels great to see the scale move doesn't it! XD

Sure does! I was down another pound this morning. So things definitely seem to be moving again. Yippee!
