I'm a week shy of 3 months post op . Down 85 lbs .  My husband returned home from Afghanistan alive and well .  He was just coming home for a 2 week vacation but then his command said he didn't have to go back !  So life is really good for our family.

Only sad thing, he didn't notice my weight loss.  I was disappointed but I was also a very big woman ,434 lbs . So I have a long ways to go still. I assume these next 15 lbs will really start to show my loss. Then it'll be 100 .  My clothes are very baggy .  Need to start getting rid of things .

Thanks for reading and have a great day !

Congratulations!!! I bet you feel amazing!!! I know many people didnt start to comment on my weight loss for some time, it really bugged me, but now, all of the sudden, pretty much every day someone says something. You will get the same from others including your dear hubby as well. You doing fantastic, keep up the good work!!

85 pounds is nothing to sneeze at, that's fantastic!!

I think the problem with us larger ladies is that it takes a lot more loss to see a difference and for others to pick up on it. I don't drop a pant size until I'm down 20 pounds. Smaller girls can lose a pant size with a whole lot less.

85 is just the beginning, keep up the great work and your hubby will be floored!

Congratulations!

Hubby was probably so thrilled to see YOU that he didn't notice the weight loss at first.  Yes, time to buy new clothes to celebrate the new you!
