I take Bariatric Advantage chewable Iron 60mg (elemental), and that is Carbonyl (they call it Ferronyl which is just their little branding of it). A whole bottle should last you quite a while (it's like 280 chewables). So you could get your dosage in pretty easy with just a couple of those.

My iron was low too and in addition to whats been said i was told to take most of my iron at night, and my b12 in the morning. Iron has more time and less cimpetition for absorption that way. Helped me. Good luck.

For your B12, you might try the TwinLabs b12 "dots" that are available in a 5000mcg dose.  If you are currently only taking 1000 per day, you could easily double that by taking the 5000 every third day until you get your level up (and then you could drop it down to twice a week).  They are very small and have a berry-like taste and dissolve quickly.  They are also quite inexpensive (about $12 for a bottle of 60 (which, if you take 3 per week, would be 5 months worth... For less than the cost of one B12 injection)).

Thanks ****rogirl.  But where do you find the Twinlabs?  I don't recall ever seeing them in Wal-mart.

I'm not sure why this site blanked out the first part of your name, but I did spell your entire name out.  Sorry.

Vitamin Shoppe stores and Kroger grocery stores both carry them, and they are also available on Amazon.  I have also seen the 500mcg dots at Walgreen's, but the one by me doesn't carry the 5000mcg version (other Walgreen's might, though because ours is kind of small).
