1 Pound a Week??

I am so frustrated. I only lost 1 lb this week. I read about how fast the weight comes off and I'm afraid that I will still have weight to lose and my honeymoon period is over. Am I being unreasonable or do you all have weeks where you lose very little this early in the journey?

You're being unreasonable.  Everyone has weeks when they lose little or nothing.  Sometimes people have stalls when they lose nothing for a month or more.  If you expected big losses every week, you are being unreasonable.

I have weeks when I don't lose at all. Then 1 week I lose 5. You may not have as much as others to lose also.

It happens. And some weeks you won't lose at all. I gain 5 lbs when I have my period. This is a marathon, not a sprint, and you never run full speed in a marathon for the entire 26.2 miles. So give yourself a break.

Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

You will lose more. Everything is okay. Stay off the scale if it wigs you out.

When I would get discouraged about not losing fast enough I reminded myself that even if I only lost a pound a week I would reach my goal, being a lightweight like yourself.

it looks like you want to lose another 25 lbs to reach your goal. That means worst case scenario you should reach you goal in about six months. That may seem like forever but it will happen. Try to be patient and enjoy the ride

Hang in there. You've been through a lot with your complications. Add in you are a revision and don't have a whole lot to lose compared to some it's probably going to come off slower.

Stick to your plan you have a lot of time to still lose.

I have been at a stall for 5 months now. Not even losing ounces. Stopped losing when I was 7 months post op.

You ARE losing which is great. Remember you have less to lose than the heavier patients that drop faster!

Thanks everyone. Sometimes I just get frustrated but you're all correct. At least I lost instead of gained. I'm just impatient. LOL.
