sorta OT: 4 more days till vow renewal in Costa Rica!
Just gotta brag about this choice... Kinda an NSV, and really just celebrating, but also a do-over of sorts..... 5 years ago, I wore a size 22W wedding gown to marry my wonderful husband (who, as a skinny beyotch from my running group had once exclaimed "you mean he married you when you were fat?!?!?". Yes, and before I had the Quasimodo-hump removed. Too bad her insurance didn't cover personality transplants. Or verbal filters.)
After RNY, I decided I wanted to see myself in wedding photos that I'd actually feel more representative of who I am today, not who I was.... So on Weds we leave for Costa Rica, to renew our vows in a very meaningful little chapel and I'll be wearing.....drumroll please...... a J.Crew gown in size 4P!!! Granted, gotta spanx myself into barely-breathing, but it's still a LONG way from where I'd been 5 years ago! I promise to post photos once we're back!
Just can't wait to leave!!!!!

Really excited for you--I think it is GREAT you are doing this!
And yes...that running beyotch needs to invest in some verbal filters! Egad!
