On the 12th I was one year out. From my highest I have lost 115 pounds. I now weight 145 pounds and I have been at that weight for about 2 months now. I am very happy with that weight and I watch the scale everyday because I will not let myself gain more then 5 pounds. I have lose skin on my arms and tummy and my boobs need a lift but I am a 34 DD now instead of a 40 DDD so I am not complaining there lol. Dec 9th I am having my tummy/panni skin removed and insurance is paying for it. I am paying $1500 for muscle tighten because of my age (25) and I want to be able to show of my tummy. I will get only one cut from hip to hip and will have drain tubs in me for 3 days. I go home that day. I was going to do my arms as well, but money ran tight. Anyways I am very happy, wearing a L tee and 6/8 in pants. Even a 9 at hot topic and we know how tinny that place is lol. I hope everyone is doing well, my docs said I am doing great and they couldn't't be happier, labs are great as well. TTYL

Congratulations on your success!  And the best of luck on your surgery.  You are lucky to be so young!

Super awesome--great to read!

What did you have to do for insurance to cover your panni removal and how difficult a process was it for you and what insurance do you have? I am being told it is almost impossible without some extenuating cir****tances, it would be a dream come true for a 1500 payment to get my muscles togther. They separated when I was pregnant with my first son and got worse with my second (having 2 babies of 10 lbs each is no picnic!) and now my tummy is like two little puppies laying beside me in bed. Ugh! Would love your insights there and hope you'll give us updates as you go through the recovery process and what you've learned there with the PS.

Thanks for sharing!

Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

Good for you!  Congratulations.  Like others, I'm curious how you were able to get insurance to cover your surgery.  Please share.  I'm hoping to have my plastics a year from now and I'm already looking for tips.

To answer about insurance I have BC/BS. And all I had to do was go to the plastic surgery place, they took pics of my tummy and asked me some questions. I don't have a rash, but I have a red irritation mark. It hangs low as well. Some of the questions were, does it get in your way when you exercise, do you have a rash? That type of stuff. They approved me in less then 72 hours. My company doesn't need a lot of issues before they approve it, which I am lucky for. The doc is even going to take care of my upper roll (above my belly button) and that will be charged to the insurance company as well. Which they approved that already. My doc is super nice and I like him a lot. I also had a letter of consult from my weight loss doc as well because they knew about the rash type of thing. He did tell me that this will be my most painful surgery and I will have two drain tubs in me for 3 days as well. Hope this helps guys :)
