She also has great ideas for these mini crust'ess quiches that sound so good for a quick lunch.
Thank you everyone it's good to hear a reminder sometimes of how far i have come. I stopped the ice cream thing AS of today i have only eaten 1 maybe 1 more but not 4-5 day anymore. I've also been doing lunch meat rollups and greek yogurt OK thus far. I just got back from urgent care my 7 yr old needed stitches 1st time any of my kids ever needed stitches and that made me emotional and cry. I am still desperately constipated to the point i think a am tearing down there i am still in pain from having a movement 4 hours ago. My ulcer still hurts too a lot going on right now. But i am trying to remain positive and remember how far i have come. I thought after 6 months post-op we typically stop losing or slow down drastically hence my comment about never hitting one-der-land. Correct me if i am wrong please?
You can keep losing weight as long as you follow the plan. Some people lose for years. But learning to eat right during the first 6 months is the key to long term weight lose. As far as the BM add sugar free fiber powder to your drinks (i use the Walmart brand of fiber powder, it comes in a green bottle, i add it to everything i drink), you can add in non stimulant stool softeners as well, I do 2-3 at night when I take my iron/vitamin C or do a MoM dose. Also I noticed on your post that your drinking G2, that has a lot of sugar and carbs in it. Try drinking power aide zero.
You have been getting excellent advice. Do you think that you are getting the best medical care for your back problem, or your ulcer? You really need professional medical help with those problems. For one thing, it is terribly hard to lose weight when you aren't exercising. If you can ge****er therapy for your back you can exercise at the same time. The diet is critical. Find a substitute for the ice cream. You are sabotaging yourself. You have done really well so don't get discouraged, you can do this and it was not meant to be an overnight result anyway. It is mind over matter and you may have to meditate a little, talk to a professional, and it might help to find a support group. Good luck.
Part of my post was ***ed out. It reads... Ge****er therapy. g e t w a t e r t h e r a p h y.
