SV - I have less then 40lbs left to go.  that feels like nothing now.  From my highest I've lost 114 lbs  from the start of pre-op 107  and from day of surgery - 96lbs

NSV - I am wearing a size 12 pant!   thas from a size 26 to a size 12!

My goal is 145 which I figured would have me in a size 8 - 10  but I am 183 and in a 12 so maybe thats smaller then I think.  I have found i am MUCH SMALLER at a weigh now then I was on the way up.  I know when I was 183 about 10 years ago I was like a 16 most of the time.   I

I work out A LOT so I think its muscle.  I am careful with my food but have had a bit of a treat like a bite of pizza or a bit of pie once in a great while.  I eat full fat dairy.  I get all my supplement, protien and water in.

This has been so great for me.  I am so glad I did this.  I had so much anxiety before doing it and after had a few weeks of daily morning breakdowns because I did it.  Once the hormones seem to flatten out and I stopped the pain pills that went away.  I just decided I would focus on what I needed to do!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE GREAT ADVICE AND SUPPORT GIVEN ON THIS BOARD!

Congrats on being so close to goal!

Regarding the sizes, there has been a real shift in US sizing! My aunt gave me a Talbots skirt that says size 20 and it is the exact same as my size 14 Talbots skirt waist I bought Saturday. All her older items, which are classic and still gorgeous the sizes are not in alignment with modern sizing.

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman.  I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

Congrats on your many successes!!  All of the hard work is definitely paying off!

I am in the same boat re: sizing.  On my way "up" the scale, at 159 I was in size 10/12.  I can now consistently wear a size 8 on the bottom and depending on the cut, a 10/12 on top.  So much fun getting new clothes, especially with all of the sales this time of year :-)  Enjoy and celebrate your incredible success!!
