vitamin B1,
Can I ask what your D level is on 1000 IU four times a week?
I agree with you that getting labs done regularly is important, and I think it's especially important for anyone taking large doses of anything.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
I thought I replied to the op. I didn't mean that post for you. I know you keep up with your labs.
At my last blood draw a few months ago, my D was at 124.
*Edited to Add: There is vitamin D in my mulitvitamin that I take twice per day, and there is some in my Calcium supplement. So, I do get D everyday. The 1000 IU of D3 is the extra I take four times per week. I didn't specify that in my first post or make that really clear. Sorry. I had to also cut back on my B12 because it was over 2000.
