What are foods that are high in protein in a serving. I eat bars with 30 grams of protein but it has 340 calories.

Premier protein premade drinks (available at Costco and online) are 30 grams of protein and only 170 calories. Detour lower sugar bars (also from Costco) are also about 170 calories and are 15 grams of protein, I think. I also use Health Smart puddings (80 calories and 15 grams of protein) and also their hot chocolate (also 80 calories or so, it might actually be lower and 15 grams of protein). I also like a lot of the syntrax protein powders which I make with light vanilla soy milk which gets me 30 grams of protein for 170 calories. For the 340 calories in your one bar you could get 60 grams by choosing some different things, which would actually give you more variety and more food for the same calories. There are lots of lower calorie choices that pack a good protein punch. I'm sure others will have more suggestions. These are just a few of the things I use when I'm struggling to get my protein in. I'm almost 4 months out and I try to get most of my protein from food. But I do use shakes, bars, puddings, etc. From time to time to supplement.

Your biggest bang for you buck may be tuna fish (25 calories and 5.5 grams of protein per oz), chicken breast (about 25 calorie and 4.5 grams of protein per oz) and plain Greek yogurt (15 calories and 2.5 grams of protein per oz).  There are also protein bars with a lot fewer calories. Think Thin, which I use, are 240 calories and 20 grams of protein.  Quest bars, which I love but are kind of spendy, are about 190 calories and 20 grams of protein.  I also use Premier protein drinks at 160 calories and 30 grams of protein.

Sweet baby Jesus laying in a manger of hay filled by his mother. What brand of bar is THAT?! Have you tried a Quest bar? 160 calories and 20g of protein? The Premier bars are 30g and 200 calories.  I had an Isopure RTD Lemon Tea today and it is 40g for 170 calories.

How much fat and carb is in a 30g bar with 340 calories? Yikes!
