Staying hungry
Cant seem to find anything satisfying. Not into the yogurt thing...or the cottage cheese thing....lol Since surgery on 10/23/2013 down 70 lbs. Cant stand the smell of eggs or bacon. Nose went nuts after surgery...lol.. Anything Im eating I have had no issues with. Just would like to find something enjoyable. I was a big meat eater b4 surgery. Not a sweets or bread eater...
I found I went through phases of what I wanted or liked and they'd last 2-3 weeks and then I didn't want it again and had to find something new. I am a huge meat eater, don't like yogurt or cottage cheese so I feel ya there!
Garlic ribeye was one of my faves. Also ground beef browned and add a couple of tablespoons of Ragu and some melted cheese! Think spaghetti without the noodles! Ham has been a life saver it goes down well when nothing else does! I also have experimented more with herbs and spices on my chicken and pork since surgery and have found a few to really settle well on my tummy..
I say make the meats you like and experiment with different spices to spice it up! and not get bored.

I hear you on the eggs...I am coming up on 8 months and I can't stand the smell of them. I CAN eat them okay, from time to time. I went through a period of about two months where absolutely NOTHING tasted good. I got a small steak and broiled it, and that seemed to help..I think it had to do with needing to chew something, or crunch on something. The only kind of meat I cannot tolerate is salmon for some strange reason and chicken....which, if I HAVE to eat chicken....one day got stranded in Mc Donald's HELL to get out of the cold waiting on a bus at luch time....I ordered a grilled chicken patty without the bun, blotted off the grease, and it was fine. Just chopped up very small and chewed really well. I also got deli meats, sliced really really thin....as long as they did not have high fat, they were fine. ground meat, at 7% fat content worked in a pinch, and ground turkey, were all okay about 4 months . I went through a fish phase too, breakfast, lunch and dinner....fish is a fallback food for me....Yes, my nose went nuts after surgery also...I can't stand the smell of cooking bacon, or high fat hamburger ( a favorite of my roommate). I can eat most veggies now, so it's meat and veggies, most of the time, athough I do limit the broccoli family foods, and pineapple...how soon does your NUT want you to wait before eating small meals again? After a couple months food started sounding better, and I was hungry again. Hang in there, it passes...keep trying new foood....sometimes i DO have to use the blender on my steak...LOL
