Before/After at 11 months, 120 lbs down
It's a new year and thought I'd share. On January 11, 2013 I started my journey as a 5'9", 268 lb. woman. I'm happy to say I am STILL a 5'9" woman, lol, but NOT 268 lbs.! My surgery was February 14, 2013 and I am now at 148 lbs., a loss so far of 120 lbs. Health-wise I am so much better physically and proud, knock on wood, to say it has been the least sickly I've been in years! Must be all those vitamins! :-) Of course the urge to walk more too as my legs are itching to move now. I also believe my improved mental clarity is a consequence of my body detoxing from the old unhealthy eating habits and getting accustomed to clean, health-conscious foods that come first given how little we are able to consume at a time.
Thank you to everyone who has shared their story, successes and challenges, as you have motivated me every step of the way!
