Although I'm dredding the swell of new-years-resolution-I'm-going-to-the-gym crowd, I will be going to my gym after work, and doing a 45 minute treadmill walk/run combo. Plus I plan on lifting some non-heavy weights as I'm still waiting for the all clear from Dr to do my normal lifting routine.
I live on the other side of the world, so my eating day is done. It looked like this:
Breakfast: 1/2 wheat English muffin, 1T peanut butter, 1t diet strawberry jam, skim latte (269 calories, 17 g protein)
Lunch: sandwich made of multigrain sandwich flat, 2 oz. roasted turkey, 1 thin slice of mozzarella, 1T mayo, 1t spicy mustard (330 calories, 24 g protein)
Dinner: roast chicken leg, diet biscotti for dessert--had planned to eat some veg, but found I didn't want it (180 calories, 24 g protein)
Snacks: jerky, satay roasted broad beans (228 calories, 18g protein)
Total nutrition: 1007 calories, 83g protein, 101g carbs, 39g fat, 31g sugar
Exercise/vitamins/water: brought my brand new yoga mat to work, only to find class was cancelled. I've taken all my vitamins (multis, calcium, b12, iron) and had eight glasses of water (not counting my latte). Not a bad day. I'm about 8-1/2 months out.

I am about 13 weks out.
Breakfast:sugar free hot chocolate with protein powder
snack: have a sandwich on whole wheat
lunch: yogurt with some blueberries with some protein powder added
dinner: small slice of meatloaf some veggies
snack: yogurt with some protein cereal
I like doing this.It makes me feel accountable for my day
I went up and down the stairs 10 ten times today
I drink a few sugar free hot chocolates a day they have 20 calories and they taste good.I do add protein with it but not all the time. You can't even tell the powder is in there.I am so glad Kelly posted about adding the protein powder to your yogurts and drinks.Makes life easier knowing I am getting my protein in and my liquids.
I agree - it helps me to be accountable too! Plus I love seeing what people are having. And I look forward to the day I can add a few blueberries to some yogurt. I have Isopure unflavored protein powder and I can add it to many things. Although after a straight month of protein shakes I am LOVING getting protein from food and not powder. I may go back to shakes at some point but right now it's so awesome to chew chicken. LOL - something that simple :)

I like adding the protein to my yogurt I know before I saw this post about adding the powder to things.I know I don't get enough in some days.I want to eat not drink.I would rather stay with food. But I am not a morning person so I do like adding the powder to my drinks.I hate eating in the morning.
