Please remember all surgeons are different and have different plans. The original poster and I from the same CENTER OF EXCELLENCE in Carmel, Indiana. These items are on our plan, as is cream of wheat, cottage cheese, yogurt, applesauce, custard, refried beans, etc...... But thanks for letting me know your opinion of how wrong my surgeon is! I will be sure to pass that information on!
I don't think she was saying your surgeon's plan was wrong. she was just saying that beans are not a full liquid. If your surgeon says it's OK to eat beans now then that's fine. But if someone is on a full liquid diet, beans are not a liquid.

According to the schedule you posted, you sometimes have two or three hours between doses of vitamins. You could take a nap then.
