Good for you.  Don't feel guilty.  I have 40 more pounds to go, and I will be treating myself to a new wardrobe.  Imagine how much money we spend on fast food, junk food, all of the crap, I bet it is more than $135.  Congratulations on hitting your goal, and your exciting purchase.

This is so true!  I am sure you have saved countless $$ on junk food and plus sized clothes this past year!  Don't feel guilty - enjoy every minute of it!  I've enjoyed "watching" you get closer to goal and did a little happy dance for you the other day while reading your post about hitting goal.  It is so wonderful that non-food rewards give us so much more pleasure now.  Congrats on your Goal !!!

Congrats to you on the new outfit ! What a deserved treat for yourself...

I also splurged yesterday...I am down 70 (have not reached goal yet) but found the cutest denim "shorts" overalls and I purchased a pair of Corral ladies cowboy boots. From the start of my journey the boots were my reward for all the money I'd save NOT eating fast food or out on weekends.

I never cared for clothes B4 losing the weight, would not shop, absolutely hated and avoided mirrors at at costs.  Now I can't seem to stop shopping. My brother was wonderful and gave me $500 towards a new wardrobe and I spent that in a day....I have an actual closet full of clothes now and clothes for the various seasons. I love to shop, in fact I can't seem to stop.  My niece Becky laughs at me and said I've changed one addiction for another... food v. clothes...With losing 182 pounds I've had to buy EVERYTHING new, even shoes.  The only things that are left are socks.  Panties went from a 12 to a 7....I buy discounts and use the heck out of on line shopping, free shipping and coupons...love it.  I just picked up 3 new sweaters (pull overs) and a new petite skirt for 40....watching the sales, coupons has given me the opportunity to buy what I like and reasonably....

I like looking now to see how things fit....mirrors like the scale aren't the enemy any more!!!

Don't feel guilty! You deserve this!

Depending on my money situation, my reward for getting to goal will be a Dooney and Bourke Florentine satchel. They're gorrrrrrgeous.

Congrats on hitting goal!!! You rock!  I want Miss Me jeans when I hit goal.  If nothing else I will at least try them on.  I keep my eyes out for silver and miss me at goodwill and local consignment shops.  I love a great deal!

at the beginning of my journey I said I was going to get a tattoo and/or tattooed eyeliner when I made onederland.  Onderland came and I haven't done either.  A friend said to wait on the tattoo until I was closer to goal for esthetic reasons.

again, congrats to you!

You should be so proud of yourself. And you should not feel guilty at all.I think you have saved so much money on going out and buying way more food than you now. I have been rewarding myself buying 20 dollar jeans and am not at goal. But I do need clothes to wear. When I get to my goal weight I am going to get a tattoo.I know a lot of people do that but I have a few already and have wanted my back done. But not now would I want anything across my back.Congratulations and show off your new jeans and sweater.

Sherrie, I don't think you should feels guilty for buying a nice outfit.  I think it's wonderful the SMALL sweater fit!  I thought you were gonna say you ate cheesecake or something on the guilty part.  Me, I will be happy with a new pair of jeans from walmart when I reach goal.  My Dad is planning to give me all his 36 and 34 jeans that are to big for him and that should help me till I reach goal.  I hope to be in 32's when I get there.  I wear 42's now.  Keep up the great work.
